Back in the good ole days….o.k. it was 1981, the Black Hills Advertising Federation (BHAF) was formed to educate our community about the advertising industry and to provide professional development opportunities for business people in our area. Now, some years later, 26 to be exact, we are still going strong due largely to the generous support of you, our business community.

Our biggest fundraising event each year is the Media & Merchandise Auction. The money raised helps to support the club and also goes toward the BHAF scholarship program, offsets the cost of seminars/educational opportunities for the community, and helps us to recognize and reward excellence in the business community through the Silver Medal Award and the BHAF Advertising Awards.

The most visible service we provide is the Public Service Campaign for a local, non-profit organization. Causes served in the past include the Food Bank, the Humane Society, Behavior Management’s Gambling Addiction Program and many more.

In addition to a great networking opportunity, Educational and Professional Development Luncheons offer speakers and presentations covering a variety of topics relating to advertising and business development.

Right now you have the opportunity to become a part of this!! With your tax-deductible sponsorship donation, we will be able to continue to offer informative, educational programs to grow your business. There are a couple options to choose from. What’s in it for me? Let’s take a look:

MARKETING GURU: $400 Sponsorship

• This sponsorship is limited to one business per monthly program.
• Up to 4 seats at the luncheon for your company, to invite guests or staff to the program you sponsor. (valued at $80)
• Press releases to the Rapid City Journal and Rapid City Weekly News, highlighting your company as the sponsor for the monthly program.
• A table to display your business information and banner.
• 5 minutes at the podium during the program, to promote your business.
• Your logo included on our website www.bhaf.org for the entire program year and linking to your website.
• Your full page, full color ad in our eNewsletter (received by over 600 business professionals) promoting the program and your sponsorship. (valued at $140)
• A “Thank You” in the eNewsletter following the program month.

SAVVY ADVERTISER: $200 Sponsorship

• Two seats at the luncheon for your company, to invite guests or staff to the program you sponsor. (valued at $40)
• Press releases to the Rapid City Journal and Rapid City Weekly News, highlighting your company as one of the sponsors for the monthly program.
• 5 minutes at the podium during the program, to promote your business.
• Your logo included on our website www.bhaf.org for the entire program year and linking to your website.
• Your ½ page, full color ad in our eNewsletter (received by over 600 business professionals) promoting the program and your sponsorship. (valued at $70)
• A “Thank You” in the eNewsletter following the program month.

ENTREPRENEUR: $25 Sponsorship

• This is something new for us. To encourage participation and new membership, we want to offer people the chance to come to one of our luncheons for FREE and check out our club. With your business sponsorship in $25 increments, you can sponsor a ‘Rookie’, someone who has never been to an Ad Fed luncheon. Minimum sponsorship of $25, Maximum of…your hearts desire.
• A “Thank You” in the eNewsletter following the program month and the name of the person your business sponsored.

Another great way to support your program is to provide a logoed door prize. This type of gift is not only fun for the recipient but helps to place your business in the top of the minds of the program attendees.
