Public Service Campaign 08-09
The Black Hills Advertising Federation is entrusted each year to take on and create an advertising campaign for a local non-profit organization. These organizations are the recipients of the combined talents and skills of BHAF members.

This year’s recipient of the Public Service Campaign will be Partnership Rapid City. The program’s mission is to give students opportunities to see the relevance of their school work, by applying their knowledge and skills in the community and to develop a workforce that will grow our regional economy and enhance our quality of life. Black Hills Ad Fed will be working closely with Julie Ward, Community Partnership Facilitator and Liz Hamburg, Business Liaison, to help Partnership Rapid City bring awareness to their projects through various advertising mediums.
In Ward and Hamburg’s request for the PSA, they hoped that BHAF could do the one thing the organization has difficulty doing – “Getting the word out about what they can do for our future workforce and consumers.” BHAF looks forward to doing just that!
The BHAF is a volunteer association composed of members of the advertising, marketing and business community. In addition to the annual Public Service Campaign, BHAF holds monthly luncheon meetings and networking socials, held September through April, and runs the Black Hills Advertising Awards competition in May.
